RESIDENTIAL INTENSIVE ENGLISH
LANGUAGE COURSES:

We offer residential intensive English language courses here in Italy with a duration of one or two weeks, to business and professional people, in comfortable first-class accommodation in the peace and quiet of the beautiful Tuscan countryside, providing students the opportunity to improve their language skills in a fully supported and friendly English speaking environment.

Our residential courses are designed for people from all spheres of activity - from all professions and industries - and for all nationalities. Our philosophy is to encourage our students to study and practise their English during their stay with us, by combining individual one-to-one and small group training sessions with an interesting and relaxing social programme.

Our students' professional and social language needs are paramount: we believe that by using the language they are studying, students develop a deeper practical knowledge which they can then use to greater effect in their daily professional and personal lives.

How to book a place on a residential English language course:

Because places on the courses are limited to a maximum of 8 students, it is advisable to book early to avoid disappointment.

Courses in November 2008 will be limited to students of pre-intermediate and intermediate levels. When you enquire about courses you will be asked to complete an assessment of your language level in addition to details of your professional and personal requirements.

Training Programme:

Our intensive residential English language courses combine one-to-one tuition in grammar and vocabulary with group sessions in which students practise and extend their speaking and listening skills. We pay close attention to our students' specific professional needs and interests, and provide training and practice in skills such as meetings, telephoning, presentations and negotiations during group and individual lessons.

The teaching staff:

All of our academic staff are native English speakers and are highly educated language teachers with years of professional experience. Our teachers have university degrees and teaching qualifications and are dedicated to helping our students improve their English language abilities during their courses here.

The course timetable:

Students arrive on Sunday afternoon and settle into their accommodation. You will be asked to complete a short test to ascertain your level of proficiency. Our priority is to ensure that you can make full use of your time with us, and that at the end of your course, you are more confident, fluent and accurate. You will be provided with a report detailing your progress and achievements when you leave.

On Monday morning, you will meet the other members of your group, discuss your objectives and interests with your teachers, and you will receive the week's timetable.
